Abstract

Cutis marmorata telengiectatica congenita is a rare, benign, sporadic and cutanous vascular disease. We report a case of a newborn whose mother used propylthiouracil during pregnancy had cutis marmorata pattern present at birth on the skin of the lower extremity and back. Cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita diagnosed case; scanned for additional anomalies that may accompany. The patient who had no additional anomaly was discharged and monitored. At the postnatal 6th month, the cutaneous vascular lesions disappeared spontaneously. During the neonatal period, while making differential diagnosis of physiological cutis marmoratus, cutis marmorata telengiectatica congenita, which is a rare condition, should be kept in mind.
